Savanna

Located in the Far North Region, it's a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its large mammal populations, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and various antelope species, thriving in its savanna ecosystem. It's a key conservation area.

While they appear slow and lumbering, giraffes can reach surprising speeds over short distances when escaping predators. Their long legs provide powerful strides, allowing them to outrun many threats in the savanna.

These towering animals are among the shortest sleepers in the mammal kingdom, often taking only short naps ranging from a few minutes to half an hour. This adaptation helps them remain vigilant against predators in the open savanna.
