Terms of Service
Last updated: November 5, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the factcovery.com website, the Factcovery mobile application and the Factcovery browser extension, collectively "the Service". By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Factcovery shows short interesting facts, a daily true-or-false game ("Daily Drop") and related features. Most of the Service is free and supported by advertising. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
3. Accuracy of Content
Facts are written and translated with the help of automated tools, including AI, and are checked against cited sources where a source is shown. We work to keep them correct, but we cannot guarantee that every fact, translation or source is accurate, complete or current.
The Service is for entertainment and general interest only. It is not medical, legal, financial, safety or other professional advice. In the Daily Drop, some statements are deliberately false — that is the game — and should never be relied on as facts.
If you find an error, please tell us and we will review it.
4. Accounts
The app works without registration: an anonymous account is created on your device. If you clear the app's data or uninstall it, that anonymous account and anything stored with it — including your streak — may be lost. You can sign in with Google to keep a purchase across devices.
5. Premium
- Premium lifetime is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. It removes advertising and unlocks the Premium features listed in the app for as long as we operate the Service. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Service, not of any particular device. To restore it on a new device, use Restore purchase in the app with the same Google account.
- Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies. To request a refund, contact Google Play. A refunded or charged-back purchase is withdrawn.
- Prices are shown in the store before you buy and may change. A change does not affect a purchase you have already made.
6. Advertising
The free Service shows advertising from third parties such as Google AdMob and Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or for sites they lead to. How advertising uses data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- scrape, copy or republish the Service's content in bulk, or use automated tools to access it beyond normal browsing;
- interfere with the Service, its security or its advertising, including generating invalid ad clicks or impressions;
- attempt to bypass Premium or purchase verification;
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules.
8. Content and Sharing
The Service, its design and its curated content belong to Factcovery. You are welcome to share individual facts using the share features, with a link back to Factcovery. Sources cited with a fact remain the property of their owners.
9. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Factcovery is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium, if any. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, and the "Last updated" date will change. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
