Grand Cayman

In 1794, ten merchant ships, including one carrying a Royal Family member, wrecked off Grand Cayman. Local islanders heroically rescued all on board, a selfless act leading to the national motto 'He Hath Founded It Upon the Seas'.

Grand Cayman is the largest and most developed, while Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, known as the "Sister Islands," offer a more tranquil, natural experience with unique dive sites and wildlife.

Despite its famous name, the iconic crescent-shaped coral sand beach measures closer to 5.5 miles. It consistently ranks among the world's best beaches, known for its pristine white sand and clear waters.

This 65-acre park, dedicated to preserving native flora and fauna, was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1994. It features a unique 'colour garden,' a woodland trail, and a lake.

One of only a handful in the world, this bay glows at night due to millions of microscopic organisms called dinoflagellates. When disturbed by movement, these organisms emit a spectacular blue-green light.

This unique shallow sandbar is famous for its population of friendly southern stingrays that interact daily with humans. Visitors can feed, pet, and even kiss these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

The critically endangered Grand Cayman Blue Iguana, or 'Blue Dragon,' is found nowhere else on Earth. Conservation efforts have brought them back from near extinction, with their population growing from a mere dozen to over 1,000.
